We took off from the O2 Arena
My Pressie from my Mum (as its my birthday today!) was to take me on a trip up the River Thames and then have Dinner on the Tereza-Joanne, a pontoon restaurant, with our friends...I took my camera off course and these are the sights we saw...
Quantum Cloud was erected in 1999 in time for the opening of the Millennium Dome (now the O2 Arena) and is Gormley’s tallest work, standing at some 30 metres high, rising from a platform bedded in the Thames....Gormley’s body forms the centre of the sculpture, with 1.5 metre lengths of steel surrounding it in a cloud of tetrahedral units designed with the help of a computer-generated algorithm.
Then our lovely boat arrived
The London Rose
Can you see the man inside the Quantum Cloud clearer now!.

Old buildings...you'll have to tell me what this one is - I have forgotten ;)
The Shard (tall building on the left) once it is finished it will be the tallest building in Europe...and of course Tower Bridge..Breathtaking!
 Stunning!

The Old Vic and next to it on the right is the Modern Art Gallery.
Heres a sneak of St Pauls Cathedral just between the opening of the Walky Bridge...A bit blurry...but Wonderful!

The OXO building...a sneak of The Eye and a lovely panoramic view of London.

The Eye in her full glory!

County Hall and the London Aquarium.

The complete view of the Houses of Parliment...and apparently if the light is on (like it is here) over the Big Ben Tower, it means that Parliment is in session...!

We finished up, getting off at The Eye...
Having a trip around the London Christmas lights..
...and having a meal on the lovely Tereza-Joanne, opposite London City Airport...watching the planes arrive and depart!
It was a lovely Birthday treat - Thankyou so much Mum xx
This is where the Tereza-Joanne was situated...a wonderful view indeedy!

ITS MY BIRTHDAY TODAY! YAY!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL, WITH THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS ME :)
