A Collage Artist - Freddy Harris

I love the Collage Artist, Freddy Harris...well of course I do, he is my Hubby! So I have added here just a selection of my favourite pieces that he has created over this year! I hope you love them as much as I do...and that they give you plenty of inspiration to create something just as wonderful...

A few of them have been created whilst he has been waiting for an operation on his knee...he has had to have plenty of rest and has been confined to his bed...hence his art station is now in our bedroom...there is so much in this room now...our decluttering has all gone out the window and it wont be too long before we are going to need an alternative storage solution for everything...I have so got to pull my socks up if we are going to get straight by Christmas!

Happy's Weekend Favourites

Here's something I haven't done in a while...and that is, showing you all what I am in Love with at the moment...perhap's there is something here that you have bought recently too, or perhaps there will be something here to inspire you and make you want to run to the shops...so here goes...

Yes it's true...I have been drooling over this Cath Kidston range for a while now...I simply love the 'Clocks' range...it reminds me of an old 1950's kitchen pattern and the colour's are so cheery...I have bought myself a few new items in this range just this week...a good time to buy as well as all of this range is now at 40% off!

I am also in love with this beautiful Lanvin HAPPY Necklace...

Fancy a designer brand 'Biggin' Up' the Happy Love!...Just a snip at £650.00!
(funny! but the actual font of this necklace is pretty similar to the way I have been signing off my name for the past couple of years too! Weird dat!:)

Isn't this tattoo incredible!...and if I told you it was a temporary tat would you believe me? Ideal for a special occassion, a night out with the gals or to try before you go the whole hog and get yourself tattoo'ed for life...This shop on Etsy has been a favourite of mine for a while and I just had to share with all of you...please go check her out...she even has 'Happy' tattoo's too ;).

Now this is something so cute and special...This Company has some amazing prints, for which you can purchase and instantly download yourself...so you can buy, print and frame yourself all in no time at all! A Happy Retro Blythe Doll

 

Well would you lookee here, what a find, my lovely posey dolly is indeedy, isn’t she just the cutest little honey bee and she also happens to have a little Max in tow too!

I found her the other day whilst battling around in the epic wind and rain that has been November, December and January!  There I was minding my own business, when I glanced into the window of this cute little thrift shop…well I say glanced, huh! I was almost thrown into the window by a gust of wind, but that doesn’t sound half as romantic!

…and there she was…standing there in the window all fine and dandy…just waiting for me to pick her up and purchase, which I promptly did, as the price tag was very in my budget, especially for dreary penniless January!

When I arrived home, tired and windswept, I made a cup of rosey lea (Tea) and lit the fire and sat on the couch with my feet up, where I opened the package that she had been dandily wrapped in…I was so excited to finally introduce myself to her, she is so darn cute and as I took her out of the packaging and laid my eyes on her, it was instant love.

She really is as cute as the picture shows, that blonde whispy hair and pinky netted dress, oh and those big blue eyes, I am so smitten, I found a peachy perfect little corner for her and snapped this piccy to share with you all.

Isn’t it just so fanbloomingtastic, when you go out and find something so fine and dandy that it just makes you want to burst at the seams…

Moroccan Style

 

I have been meaning to tell you about a few purchases I have made lately...they are not my usual style, but fit in so perfectly with the Happy Shabby look, I don't know why I have never thought of combining the two looks before...


Yes it's Moroccan Style and I first discovered this lovely website when I was cyber shopping with my cousin looking for bohemian items for her Chelsea Apartment....

I was instantly 'In Love' with these delightful Tea Glasses, cerise and decadent gold, they are the perfect size for my favourite Brandy and Lemonade tipple hic ;D, they also look good just on their own for a display along your country dresser or retro kitchen unit.

I also purchased the slippers and this rather lovely red leather Pouffe from their selection of Moroccan pouffe, which was much bigger than I expected it to be, the slippers are so cute and the Pouffe, is a great 'extra seat' for when we have a full house...

 
My lovely Cousin, bought this delightful Wrought Iron Wooden Framed Mirror, I would of liked it too...but a gal can dream ay! I would of painted mine white and ruined it in her eyes, so probably best that I couldn't afford it ;D

I really do love this website, there is still so many things that I would love to purchase, including these wonderful Tagines...

Kitsch Blythe Doll Find at a Boot Fair

And isn’t she lovely!…I found this Kitsch Blythe Doll at a Car Boot Sale in Essex, whilst I was visiting my Mum!….it was actually quite late in the morning when I set my eyes upon her!….and I instantly fell in love!

She has those wide eye Blythe features, a pretty haircut and a silk scarf with pretty little bows in her hair…The lady that I bought her from told me that she is from the 1960’s and as if I wasn’t going to buy her anyway…she said the magic word…Kitsch! lol! “she is soooo kitsch”, she said….and there I was! smitten! handing over my (what seemed measly) pound for such a cute little girly!

…And her she is in full glory…she sits on a musical stall, wearing this pretty pink dress and is holding a pretty bunch of tulips….she is to die for…she also has little pink plastic shoes, but I need to stick them on, as they keep falling off, so I have put them away somewhere safe until then 🙂
