I have always been a bit sceptical about trying another mattress for my bed...I have had a Tempur mattress for years now and have always got the best sleep ever! but it has had its disadvantages over the years too!...for one it is getting rather old and 2. I get rather hot in it...and lately with the very hot weather I have been sleeping with no covers and getting a zillion mosi bites...

So when an opportunity arrived to try the Leesa Mattress for 100 days.  I jumped at the chance as I had heard it is made up of 3 layers of memory foam and therefore keeps you cooler when you sleep, not to mention that it was also a new one and my old one was getting a tad on the lumpy side!..and definitely needed changing.,

I was a bit worried about having it delivered, but I needn't of, as The Leesa Mattress arrives in a neat box that is easy to carry up the stairs and all you have to do is lay it flat on your bed (old mattress removed!) slide it out of the box with the grey patterning facing upwards. tear all the packaging away and watch it grow to the size of your divan...it really is, as simple as that!

I had to wait an hour before I could try it out, so all the air could get in between the layers of the memory foam...

I have been sleeping on it for around a month now and I really don't know why I hadn't changed my old mattress before, you see I was going along with 'well I have the best mattress' (a Tempur) therefore I would sleep on it forever as it cost me a Bomb 10 years ago! but oh how times have changed and Leesa have really thought about how we sleep...My aches and pains haven't been so bad and I am getting between 7-8 hours of solid sleep, which is Bliss!

I am up bright and early, where I have a more of a solid sleep and also I don't feel so grumpy in the day...I went away for a few days last week and sooo missed my Leesa Mattress, but my Daughter Rosie kept it warm for me! She also loved it, it helped her achy body (she has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) no end and also enabled her to have a better sleep...so I think we will be purchasing another for her.

I really do love my new mattress and wouldn't be without it now, it is so comfy and moulds to the shape of my body giving that weightless feeling...I also like Leesa's ethics, as they donate custom-made mattresses to organisations that serve homeless and at-risk men, women and children at every stage of their transition to better lives...Marvellous!

  1. I would love to have a new mattress but my husband just surprised me with one a couple of years ago. I don't like it at all, but he does.

  2. There is nothing like a good mattress to aid sleep. We have had a Stearns and Foster for several years and absolutely love it. It has not "broken down" in any spots yet. Hope you have a great Sunday- xo Diana
