craft table mixed media tim holtz
My Freddy has a new craft studio!
It's actually sited in our bedroom next to the bed!
He has been confined to the bedroom lately, as he has torn his tendon in his leg making
getting around rather awkward!

...and you know how he loves his art...so I decided to move one of our wardrobes sideways, facing the bedroom door, so that it created this Narnia space...all 4ft of it!...we were then able to fit a lovely old sturdy dressing table like these from Fortune Woods, in the gap creating lots of storage and work space...

I then made about 150 trips, up and down the stairs, carrying all of his many many craft materials into this creative Narnia cubby hole, where everything is to hand for him.

We are off to the hospital next week to see about him having an operation and if he does, (which is highly likely) he will have to have his leg in plaster...so this space will be well worth it then!

I managed to get him a few bargains for the space too!
The Luxury office chair was bought for £20 on Ebay and 106 artist felt tips were bought for £10 at the boot sale, normal price would have been well over £200!

His artwork is displayed on his flickr account if you are interested...
What unusual decorating have you done lately?
