How do you like my Ercol chair make-over? I found this wonderful chair at a local Car Boot Sale.. and I did this in an afternoon a few days afterwards! Its amazing what you can do in an afternoon when you put you’re mind to it isn’t it!…and have been meaning to show you this little project for a while now! .JPG)
As you can see..this is what it started out like…So I just painted the chair with one coat of Annie Sloan’s white chalk paint, but left the arms as they are, as Freddy rather likes the aged worn out look of how many peeps had sat in it!

I found the material from my vintage stash in my craft room, and thought it would be an ideal piece to cover the cushions with! So armed with a needle and thread I got to work sewing the material on to the cushion covers…and voila!
This is how it turned out! Do you like my Ercol chair Make over ?
Amazing what you can do! when you put your mind to it!
