Ok gals, so I thought I would show you how I have progressed with my Happy House Makeover..
.As I have told you, although I have my Mojo back, progression is slow, because it is just me doing it all and I am a perfectionist, so everything has to be done right!
I started by getting rid of everything that I couldn't stand to look at anymore!...I also ripped away all that retro backing paper on the shelves and removed a few more cupboard doors....Then I opened the white paint...ahh you can never have too much white paint!
Well! after plenty of cups of tea later and a hell of a lot of to'ing and fro'ing...!
This is what I have ended up with...
The Kitchen is now back to Happy Shabby Style...
It is not quite finished...in these pictures I have shown you...I have yet to take more, to show you the finished results...but you can at least see the majority of the 'happy kitchen makeover'.
Hey! and what a cute little idea, this is...to block out the other room. I have added this red vintage airer, to house my teatowels and nik naks etc...it makes for a wonderful display and is so pleasing to the eyes, don't you think :)
Hope you all like the progress so far my lovelies...
I'll be keeping you updated...I am currently working in the 'cold house' at the moment!
Love H x

ReplyDeleteLove your happy cheerful kitchen! It must be fun to make meals and bake in such a bright and cheery spot. We are going through renovations as too but no where near being done. Hopefully it will be worth the mess and bother when it's all finished.

It's all delightful, and the vintage airer is perfect!

ReplyDeleteOH HAPPY! It's just all too wonderful! I love the bright, happy colors...I'm afraid all I'd do is take photos and sit around with a cup of Earl Grey and smile. ALOT!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous renovations! HOORAY for white paint...it does brighten even the dreariest spaces, doesn't it?
I have only a small "Happy Spot" in my kitchen...you can see my version here:
