Well look at the view from my dining room window at the start of the week! what a lovely sight...was spring finally on its way! Oh I know we are only in February! but it seems like we have had too much dark and too much cold! I so welcomed this lovely change!....This sunshine day made me want to do the washing and ironing...a bit of spring cleaning and create something new!

Hmmm Freshly folded sheets!

Even the daffodils were in full bloom....Hmmm I can feel a trip to Columbia Road flower market coming on soon!...Easter is just around the corner and I feel ready to fill the house with fresh flowers, they always look so gorgeous, especially in the centre of a dining table...The heart of the home.

We now have our Dining room all set up how we like it, we used to have a small thin table in the middle of the room, but I have moved that to the side now and placed our 21 draw unit on top of it...which looks rather lovely! even if I do say so myself!...I have placed our larger table to the side of it and it really is the hub of our house....its where we drink coffee, have our suppers, paint and create!

..And remember Max! well he sits on either chair, there's one either side of the table in the window, he's not fussed, as long as he is near one of us...! He is doing well, very fluffy at the moment...he even has curls on his tail! LOL! so I need to be giving him a short back and sides soon.

This week I have been creating some art in my Moleskine book...I created a collage (don't worry Debbie, collage is on its way to you very soon!) and I drew a daffodil, and as i am so keen on digital art I took the daffodil into photoshop and....

...created this 3D flower, I brightened it up with pink and green spots and made it look like it was on a canvas...I am so pleased with how it turned out...I thought I would share it with you...but please if you use it in your own work (non profit making please!) could you be so kind to link back to me - thanks! This is a picture of myself that I took into photoshop and used a special filter with and this is how it turned out!...its so much fun...you gals must try it!

And yes...you are right if you have spotted that Cath Kidston button necklace in the piccy of me above....how could I resist it, after I had blogged about it!...my lovely Mum bought it for me as well as this lovely bag, below....well a sunny week without a trip to Cath Kidston! Now C'mon!!!

I am so sorry to all of you, for not sticking to my MAKE DO AND MEND Motto this time, but, sometimes a gals gotta break the rules a little, especially when its from one of her favorite shops! and the necklace was so much nicer than in the brochure....How could I resist! :)

Bye for now gals...
