Anyway....these pictures are from Christmas Past and Present...you might see a few changes...coz we have downsized, Ill blog more about that in the New Year :) I actually prefer living in a smaller house, its easier to clean. keeps tidier and because it is a victorian property, you cannot hear people moving around....I hated that where we were before....you could hear everything...I definitely prefer older properties, so much more history and features.

Ill go now and leave you with the rest of my Chrimbo piccy's....Enjoy! xx

It arrived the very next day after she told me she would post it.....we were having a lie in on that day though! and the postman must of knocked really early! so we had to collect it the next day....it was all wrapped up in clear cellophane and pretty ribbon and funky tape! she also included some freebie stickers ribbon and buttons....oooh it was such a delight to open....Christmas kinda had come early for me!.....Thank you soooo much Zia, as you can see it has pride of place in my new Bedroom! and I LOVE IT!

A while back HERE I was tagged...I passed this tag onto a few of my lovely friends, one of which was Emily from Sugar and Meringue, she asked, as she had already done this before, not so long ago - if she could change the Rules and I thought why not!! So as it is the season to be jolly, tra la la la laa! she suggested 'My favourite Holiday Recipe' for which you have to post your favourite one on your blog and pass the honour onto 7 other blogging friends...what fun!
...and although I had tagged her, because we changed it, she tagged me back! hehehe!
So heres my recipe...(this is soo easy, it was given to me by an old friend, but it is from the Blue River Cafe cook book) its easy and perfect for making in advance, as you can leave it to chill in the fridge.

chocolate truffle cake, Tartufo di cioccolato
450g extra bitter chocolate broken into pieces ( but seriously, use your favourite chocolate...it works brilliantly with milk chocolate...very decadent!)
1L double cream at room temperature
cocoa powder
- Line a 25 x 5cm cake tin with cling film or use a cake tin with a removable base.Very slowly melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water.
- It is essential that the water does not touch the bowl and that the chocolate is not stirred.
- As soon as the chocolate becomes liquid remove the bowl from the pan.
- Let the chocolate cool slightly but do not allow to set.
- Whisk the cream in a large bowl until it forms very soft peaks.
- Take a large spoonful of the cream and quickly fold it into the chocolate until it is completely combined and there is no white visible then immediately fold this mixture into the cream stir to combine and pour into the prepared cake tin.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before turning out on to a plate.
- Dust with cocoa powder.
