Make Home Security Your Number One Priority!
It's hardly going to be much of a shock to say that you probably care about your home quite a lot. I mean, who doesn't?! Your home is your sanctuary from the outside world. It's the place where you spend time with your family, make memories, and should feel safer than just about anywhere else in the world, which is what makes it so utterly horrible when something happens to disrupt that safety.

There's a good reason why a home invasion is often ranked as one of the most traumatic experiences that many people will ever go through. It can leave you and your family feeling unsafe in your own home for years to come. Because of that, it's important that you make sure that your home security is your number one priority at all times. It might be more enjoyable to spend your time making your home look beautiful, but that's not going to be worth anything if an intruder is able to get in. Here are a few simple things that you can do to increase the safety and security in your home.
What would be behind that door? Always be open to new experiences. Hopefully it will be a cheeky one ;):

Set up an alarm system

There are few things more effective at deterring intruders than setting up an alarm system. Even the presence of an alarm that potential intruders can see is often enough to discourage them from coming near your home. Of course, if they are feeling lucky, or just don't see the alarm, the moment they do anything then it will go off, alerting both you and the authorities that someone has attempted to break in. In a perfect world, your alarm would never have any reason to go off and, if you're lucky, that's exactly what will happen, but you're guaranteed to sleep more soundly knowing that it's there.

..some things are so pretty i just wish i could "wear" them..does that make sense to anyone but me???:

Remember the outside

One of the biggest mistakes that many people when it comes to protecting their home are that they forget how important it is to also secure the outside as well. Make sure that your outside gates are always securely locked and that your fences are strong enough that they can't be knocked down. It's also important that you can always see if someone is attempting to get into your house from the outside. You can secure your home with LED flood lights in the garden and outside the front door. That way that intruders have nowhere to hide, even if they're trying to sneak in at night.

What is it about rusty things that are so appealing. I think we have a yearning for a simpler time when things were made by hand with care and passion.:
Make security everyone's responsibility

Of course, the most important thing that you can do in order to keep your home secure is to make sure that everyone in your family is taking responsibility for it. Everyone should have their own key to the house, and it should be everyone's job to make sure that it's securely locked when they leave the house or go to sleep. All of the alarm systems in the world aren't going to make any difference if you and your family don't make sure that you're very disciplined when it comes to setting it properly before you go out.
